I encourage critical comments to this blog on the comments page. However, the following rules should be respected.

1) In general, I will not allow personal attacks against me or anyone else to be published. Debate requires that you criticize an idea. Attacking a person rarely accomplishes that goal.

2) I will not allow obscene or vulgar language. Intelligent debate requires that one be skillful enough to communicate an idea without resort to vulgarity.

3) Subjects of a "sensitive" nature are not necessarily off limits. However, discussions should be kept within socially acceptable boundaries.

4) I will not allow the publication of racial slurs, or slurs against minority groups.
